Skulle lave en lille fødselsdagsgave og besluttede mig for at lave nogle marcipanæg med et twist :) Jeg lavede to forskellige slag: marcipan med nougat og lakridspulverfyld og marcipan med hyldeblomstsaft i.
Æg med nougatfyld/Easter eggs with nougat
Du skal bruge:
250 gram rå marcipan
1-2 tsk lakridspulver (knust tyrkisk peber)
100 g nougat
100g chokolade
...
You need:
250 grams marzipan
1-2 tsp liqorice powder
100 grams nougat
100 grams
chocolate
Du starter med at dele marcipanen i 16 lige store stykker
...
Cut out 16 equally big pieces of marzipan
Disse ruller du til kugler og du laver en fordybning i hver kugle
...
Roll them and make an indentation
Jeg brugte mit ball-tool men du kan sagten bare bruge fingrene :)

Lakridspulveret laver du ved at tage tyrkisk peber og blende til det er pulveriseret

You can make your own liqorice powder by blending store bought sweets
Du tager din nougat og ælter lakridspulveret heri
...
Add you liqorice to your nougat
Det bliver noget forfærdelig splat!!

Yup it is messy!!
Sæt klumpen i køleskabet en times tid så den størkner lidt igen inden brug

Refrigirate for an hour
Jeg skar små stykker af med en kniv for ikke at gøre nougaten for blød mens jeg brugte den
...

Tag de små stykker nougat og put en i hver marcipankugle
'Fold' marcipanen henover nougaten og tril dem til æg. Pyt med hvis nougaten titter lidt frem, det ses ikke når de overtrækkes og pyntes :)

'Fold' the marzipan around the nougat and roll them to egg shapes. It doesn't matter if the nougat shows through -they will be covered in chocolate..
Så smelter du chokoladen - husk at temperere den

Resterne kan med fordel puttes i en silikoneform og så har du fluks nogle fine chokolader :)

Jeg pyntede med lidt knust lakridspulver hvilket lige gav et ekstra pift til smagen. Formen er blot en muffinform til minimuffins

1/4 dl koncentreret hyldeblomssaft
flormelis
100g chokolade

1/4 decilitre of concentrated elderflower juice
icing sugar
100 grams chocolate
Bland marcipan med hyldeblomstsaft og flormelis

Mix marzipan with juice and icing sugar
Ælt og tilsæt flormelis til massen ikke længere er meget klistret men god til at forme æg af

Add icing sugar until it is not too sticky
Tril en pølse og del den i 16 lige store stykker

Tril dem til æg

Roll into egg shapes
Smelt chokoladen - husk at temperere den
